My first object is my d20. Just in case you don't know, a d20 is a 20 sided dice and the d stands for die. I took a picture of this because it means a lot to me. My favorite thing to do on the weekends is play dnd with my friends and the d20 is the most used and iconic die in dnd. The game is very heavily luck based o that die has gotten me out of a lot of sticky situation through good rolls. This Christmas I am getting new dice and even though I like my origanel dice, the new ones are painted and metal so I will use those ones.
My next object is my kindle. Not like the miniature I-pad kindles that kids sometimes get before thy can have a phone but a reading kindle. I got this because two summers ago I got tired of summer and none of my friends were free for like three weeks so I just started reading. I already read a lot and finish a book about every week but that summer I was reading way faster then that. Every day I would wake up, get ready, and just read. It got to the point that I was reading two books a day. Each book was like 20 dollars and three weeks... you do the math. That is when my parents decided to get me a kindle because books are about 5-10 dollars and my fingers don't get dried out by touching dry pages all day long.
Next is something that is not a specific object but a type of object, it is a banana. Bananas are my favorite fruit, you can eat them plain, with peanut butter or put them into smoothies. The main reason they are my favorite fruit is because they have a peel that is very thick. The reason I like this is because peels are fun to peel but mainly because I won't eat fruit that has any sort of blemishes on it. This is kind of a problem because you almost never find a perfect grape or perfect strawberry, I wish I could find them because they taste so good but they are very rare. Things with peels, like bananas have a much higher chance of being perfect with no bruises of spots on them. This means that the banana is one of the few fruits I can enjoy eating without having to worry about finding the perfect one. The only bad part about bananas is that they don't have juice in them like most other fruits because I really like juice.
The next picture is the only object out of all my pictures that you can wear, it is my winter hat. This is a great hat, the best hat that I have ever gotten. It is very warm, comfortable, and year after year it always seems to fit. I have been wearing this hat since 5th grade. One of my uncles gave it to me for Christmas. The best past about it is that there are two sides, orange and blue. I thought this would be good for this assignment because you showed us the video of the photographers changing the flowers and banana to get unique pictures. That made me think "Wait a minute, my hat can do that and I don't eve have to rip it apart to do this." This made it easy to get 5 different pictures of it because there were two sides. One side is the blue side with darker blue stripes going horizontal on the hat. That side has the scary looking eyes but the mouth for that side is a squiggly line so it does not look very scary over all. The next side is an orange side. This side does not have stripes on it. It just has eyes and a mouth on it, also it is technically the inside of the hat because it has the tag on it. This side has goofy looking eyes on it but a mouth full of fangs, so it is the opposite of the blue side. I like this hat a lot but the orange side is my favorite side.
Lastly is my hourglass, this is the object that I have the least of a connection to. I thought it would be good for the photo but in hindsight it was horrible because the glass on the hourglass reflected the sun and all my pictures with it have a ton of glare. At least I know know never to take pictures of things with glass in direct sunlight. My connection with this is I used to use it when I was smaller and played Super Mario Brothers on my wii. This was back when I could play video games on school days. When ever one of the wii controllers broke, one of us (me, my twin, and older brother) wouldn't get to play. We would order a new one as soon as one broke but it would take at least a week to get to my house. When this would happen we would take turns playing. The hour glass is for 5 minutes so as soon as we switched off, one of us would start the hourglass and we would switch again in 5 minutes. This stared lots of arguments but it probably stopped way more from ever happening.
